CS50 Week 7: SQL
K

I am a full-time filmmaker, learning how to code to add to my skillset.

Week 7 was pretty enjoyable for me, I enjoyed it more than Python week. Admittedly, when I first saw the syntax for SQL, I was a bit confused and wasn't sure how it could be useful. But once we started getting into the assignments, I started to understand the whole SQL vibe.

I like databases and data management, and so I enjoyed doing the assignments. It was pretty easy for me to grasp SQL concepts compared to C or Python, and I finished the assignments easily. I particularly enjoyed the final problem set, Fiftyville, where you had to act as a detective and try and find out who stole the CS50 duck. The process was pretty logical, and anyone could have figured it out, but I quickly understood how SQL would be invaluable when dealing with tons and tons of data.

Not much else to say about this week other than that. In summary, SQL was pretty fun for me and I would possibly be interested in delving more into data science. Looking forward to the upcoming week, where we get into HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
